There is also the NCR air-quality angle. With Delhi's pollution rules tightening on older vehicles and CNG being cheaper per kilometre, the Delta CNG at about ₹8.89 lakh on-road is worth a look if you rack up high daily mileage across the border. The catch is the manual gearbox, so you are trading the AGS comfort for fuel savings. Pick CNG only if your monthly running is genuinely high.

One practical check before you pay: ask for the insurance split rather than one bundled figure, since the first-year OD cover and any add-ons are where a quote quietly grows, and make sure the FASTag and any handling charge show as their own lines. Border-belt buyers sometimes ask about registering on the Delhi side, but that only works if your address and usage are genuinely there, so do not chase a registration loophole that does not match where you actually live.

Bottom line for Loni: if you cross into Delhi daily, start at the Delta AGS and go up to the Zeta AGS only if you want the extra cabin kit. Take CNG instead only if your mileage is high enough to pay back the gearbox you are giving up.
