Honda Cars India is all set the launch the 3rd Generation Honda Amaze in India sometime later in 2024. The second Gen model of the C-Sedan came to India in 2028 and despite getting a facelift in 2021, it has started showing age. If we go by media reports and other flying news, the new gen Amaze can be expected to hit the Indian roads by the 2024 festive seasons.
When it comes to changes, the new-gen Amaze will be a brand new model with a new deisgn, underpinnings, cabin and features. However, we expect the powertrain to be similar to the onging model.
To put it simply, the sedan will be based on a new platform derived from the existing architecture that currently underpins the City as well as the Elevate SUV. This will also help in cutting down R&D costs as well as making full use of the platform.
Although there’s no information related to the deisgn, the new amaze is expected to boast all-new styling which will be pretty much inspired by premium Honda sedans sold abroad such as the Accord. Expect a sharper front fascia, a sleek silhoutte and other new elemens such as headlamps, tail lights and bumpers.
From Inside, the entry-level Honda sedan will most probably get a new dashboard witha new larger digital instrumnet cluster and infotainment system. The feature list will also be upgraded with new additions such as blind-view moniter, and even ADAS.
