The XL7 will be similar to the current XL6, except it will be a 7-seater rather than the current 6-seater. The XL7 will likely be equipped with the 1.5-litre petrol unit mated with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. It isn’t the best, but it is quite refined and efficient.
Feature-wise the MPV will be loaded. Some of these include air-con vents in all rows, cruise control, cooled cup holders, climate control, and more. The car will also be expected to come with LED headlamps, fog lamps, and alloy wheels.
There isn’t any timeline provided for its launch but it’s expected to launch by November 2023. The pricing is likely to start from Rs 11 lakh and will take the likes of Mahindra Marazzo and Kia Carens.
