Mysore gets 9 Baleno variants across petrol manual, petrol AGS and S-CNG manual choices. Petrol manuals are Sigma MT ₹7.29 Lakh, Delta MT ₹8.26 Lakh, Zeta MT ₹9.33 Lakh and Alpha MT ₹10.40 Lakh. AGS trims are Delta AGS ₹8.85 Lakh, Zeta AGS ₹9.92 Lakh and Alpha AGS ₹11.00 Lakh. S-CNG manuals are Delta CNG ₹9.33 Lakh and Zeta CNG MT ₹10.40 Lakh.

The Karnataka tax rows need a careful read in Mysore. The Baleno uses the 14% road-tax slab across all variants because ex-showroom prices stay below ₹10 Lakh. TCS should be zero, even for Alpha AGS at ₹11.00 Lakh on-road. Other charges include infrastructure road-safety cess at 11% of road tax, a ₹1,000 transport-workers cess, registration ₹600, HSRP ₹400, smart card ₹200, postal fee ₹50 and FASTag ₹500. Delta CNG equals Zeta MT at ₹9.33 Lakh, but Mysore buyers should not ignore boot space. CNG can work for high daily running inside the city or industrial-side use if filling is convenient. For weekend family trips toward Coorg, Chamundi side or Bengaluru with luggage, Zeta MT is the more flexible car. Zeta CNG MT at ₹10.40 Lakh matches Alpha MT, so buy it only when running cost is the main reason.

Mysore practical pick: Zeta MT at ₹9.33 Lakh for most family and highway use, Delta AGS at ₹8.85 Lakh for city-first buyers, and Delta CNG at ₹9.33 Lakh only when running is high. Approximate EMI at 60 months, 20% down and 9.25% interest is near ₹15,580 for Zeta MT or Delta CNG and ₹14,790 for Delta AGS. Ask the showroom to keep road-safety cess, transport-workers cess, insurance and accessory kit separate so the on-road quote stays readable. Zero TCS should remain visible even on Alpha AGS, and discounts should sit below the statutory subtotal.
