Royal Enfield Makes EV debut with the Flying Flea C6

Royal Enfield debuts the Flying Flea C6 which is influenced by the WW2 Flying Flea motorbike.

Retro-modern

The retro-themed electric bike is built on an aluminium chassis. The battery sits inside a magnesium casing which supposedly reduces weight & ensures better cooling.

What is it meant for?

The Flying Flea C6 is an urban electric bike, meant for commuting in and around the city.

Not for highways

The company states that the bike is not meant for highway rides.

Retro Design

The bike gets a round headlamp, round taillight and a circular TFT screen.

New brand

With this bike, RE has successfully debuted the Flying Flea sub-brand, meant for electric bikes.

What's the power?

While the 49 kWh battery delivers 142 bhp/189 Nm & is limied to 2WD only, the 61 kWh battery produces 172 bhp/189 Nm  in the 2WD model & 300 Nm in the 4WD.

Fun fact

The Flying Flea was used in the front lines during WW2.
