Audi Q6 e-tron Performance Revealed

The Performance variant gets the same 100 kWh battery pack as the other two variants. Despite being the entry-level variant in the lineup, it boasts the highest range among its siblings of up to 641 km (WLTP) – 16 km higher than the standard Q6 e-tron and 43 km higher than the SQ6 e-tron. Furthermore, the new variant is the only one with a rear-wheel drive setup.

The Q6 e-tron Performance churns out 326 hp, which is lower than the Q6 e-tron Quattro’s 387 hp and SQ6’s 517 hp. Despite that, it’s still capable of going 0 to 100 kph in 6.6 seconds. Audi states that the new variant can offer up to 260 km range by charging for just 10 minutes, considering a fast charger is used.

The Q6 e-tron is set to go live in Europe in August, followed by China. The India launch is expected to take place either by the end of this yer or early next year. The price will likely be around the Rs 70-80 Lakh range and the car will sit between the Volvo XC40 recharge, BMW iX3 and larger SUVs like the Q8 e-tron, BMW iX and Mercedes EQE SUV.
