Korean giant, Hyundai offers a wide range of their models in India between 10-20 lakh, since this range is considered a prime playing field for carmakers since consumers nowadays are looking for premium choices especially SUVs that align with their lifestyle and higher incomes. Here is a list of Hyundai Cars under 20 lakhs. (Note: All the prices of the cars in this list are On-road, New Delhi so contact your nearest dealership to know about the exact prices).
Hyundai Aura is the most affordable car from this list, starting from Rs 7.41 lakh for a petrol manual and going up to Rs 10.23 lakh for a CNG manual (Top Variant). The sedan comes with a premium finish, a smooth engine, a spacious interior and good ground clearance. While the front design is good, the rear design might not be everyone’s cup of tea. The car is also decently packed with features such as 6 airbags, wireless charging, rear parking sensors, a rear defogger, footwell lighting, and more.
The newest member of the family, Hyundai Exter is also the most affordable compact SUV from the brand that you can get under 20 lakhs. The top variant costs Rs 11.90 lakh which is Automatic (AMT) Petrol and the base variant starts from Rs 6.75 lakh. The SUV has some quirky design elements, however, the fit and finish of the car feel quite premium. Also, the car comes with some segment-first features such as a dashboard camera and rear AC vents. This SUV, just like the whole Hyundai lineup has 6 airbags as standard.
The Hyundai i20 is available in the price range of Rs 8.02 – 13-04 lakh and is one of the best hatchbacks out there. The car recently got a facelift and carries a sharp and modern design with a pepper motor and features such as 6 ABS with EBD, a premium Bose Sound System, LED lighting and more.
Hyundai Venue is one of the best SUVs available under 20 lakhs with its top variant costing Rs 15.85 lakh and the base starting from Rs 9.00 lakh. The car is feature-packed with segment-first features such as reclining seats, wireless chargers, and paddle shifters and is also the first fully connected car in the country. The SUV also comes with over 30 safety features with the ADAS suite.
Hyundai i20 N Line
The Hyundai i20 N Line (facelifted) base starts from Rs 11.28 lakh and the top trim costs up to Rs 14.51 lakh. In terms of design, the N Line appears similar to the regular except for some sporty differences such as the red line going around the car, all-black with red accents in the interior and a sport exhaust note. The hot hatch also has features such as 6 airbags as standard and more.
The Hyundai Creta is probably one of the most, if not the most, popular SUVs in India. The Creta’s base Petrol manual variant starts from Rs 12.72 lakh and goes up to Rs 22.69 for the Diesel Automatic variant (Top Variant). The SUV gets split LED headlamps, adjustable ORVMs, 6 airbags, Vehicle Stability Management, ESC, an air purifier, a Bose sound system, panoramic sunroof smartphone connectivity and more. While the top variant is a bit expensive you can get the SX 1.5 Petrol CVT variant for Rs 18.94 lakh. Creta’s facelift is also on its way along with a Creta EV.
The iconic Hyundai Verna recently got its makeover and now costs Rs 12.85 lakh for the base variant and 20.13 lakh for the top variant. While some might feel the design is quirky and weird, the sedan still has a very premium fit and finish with top-notch safety features such as 6 airbags, seatbelt pre-tensioner and load limiter, ESC, rear ISOFIX child seat mounts, level 2 ADAS and more.
The car even scored 5 stars in the GNCAP rating. Other features include an electric sunroof, ventilated front seats, a fully digital driver’s display, automatic climate control and more. The Verna also has very smooth and peppy engine options which also makes it a treat to ride despite its quirky design.
Hyundai Venue N Line
The Hyundai Venue N Line, which is basically the sportier version of the standard venue starts from Rs 14.06 lakh and goes up to Rs 16.14 lakh. The SUV provides best-in-class quality with the typical N Line Sporty design elements and a refined motor that also packs a punch. When compared to a similar-priced Venue variant, the N Line is quite a Value for Money and a good SUV for daily city rides, however, the cabin might feel a bit stuffed.
The big boy of the family, Hyundai Alcazar starts from Rs 19.56 lakh and goes up to Rs 25.20 lakh, so if you want to buy one your options are limited to the base variant only. Nonetheless, the SUV provides a premium feel with a range of features that surpasses the Creta such as 64-colour ambient lighting, a huge panoramic sunroof and a third-row option, which also adds practicality to the Alcazar.
The car is also packed with safety features like 6 airbags, electronic parking brake, auto hold and hill start assist, tyre pressure monitoring and stability management and more. However, for the automatic variant, you will need to pay at least Rs 22.63 – Rs 23.24 lakh for the Diesel and Petrol options respectively.
