Kia launched the Diesel MT variants of the updated Seltos in India with prices starting from Rs 11,99,900 to Rs 18,27,900 (ex-showroom). The Korean carmaker launched the updated Seltos back in June 2023. Before this,. the 1.5-diesel engine came with either a 6-speed iMT or a 6-speed torque converter.
The Seltos diesel MT is available in HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX and HTK+ variants with the top-spec being priced a bit lower than the top-spec Creta diesel MT which is priced at Rs 18.74 lakh. Apart from this, no powertrain options for the Seltos X-Line and GT Line variants have been revealed yet.

Talking about features a bit, the Seltos Diesel MT gets the same features list as its automatic counterparts which include an ADAS suite, 6 airbags, a 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate, a HUD, two 10.25-inch screens each for infotainment and driver’s display, a Bose 8-speaker music system, panoramic sunroof and more.
The brand also announced that over 65,000 units of the Seltos Facelift have been sold since July 2023. Bookings for the Seltos Diesel MT are currently open with deliveries scheduled to commence from February.
