Bajaj Auto has finally confirmed the launch date of the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N250 officially, which is April 10, 2024. The bike has been spied on multiple occasions during test runs until now, dropping some interesting information each time regarding the update.
This 2024 update of the Pulsar N250 will bring some key changes to the bike such as the addition of an inverted fork, new colours and a new fully digital LCD instrument cluster which is likely to be the same as the one used by the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200, that has features such as Bluetooth connectivity, Call/SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation.
The console will also give real-time information on the display such as distance-to-empty (DTE) and instantaneous fuel efficiency (IFE) along with other regular readouts such as speed, tachometer readings, odometer and tripmeter. The console update being fresh air on the NS 200 also received criticism from a few buyers and enthusiasts, who preferred the old semi-digital cluster (which had an aesthetic look to it), which is sad because the market has been demanding this console update for so long. It remains to be seen whether this cluster blends well with the design of the N250.
The Inverted USD fork on the other hand will definitely improve the overall handling characteristics of the motorbike.
Unfortunately, the update will probably not make any changes to the Pulsar N250’s power and torque figures. The bike will continue to be powered by the same 249.07 cc, air/oil-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 24.5 PS and 21.5 Nm.
The expected price of the Bajaj Pulsar N250 is Rs 1,58,978 (ex-showroom, Delhi) which is a premium of Rs 9,000 from the outgoing model. The N250 will continue to compete with other 250cc streetfighters in the segment including the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and KTM 250 Duke.
