Recently a new Bajaj motorcycle has been spied on during its test runs and if by closer looks, it seems to be a commuter and round headlights and the overall silhouette suggest it belongs to the Bajaj’s CT family, which is a lineup of rugged two-wheelers. Though most of the body is covered in camouflage, there are other details that point out that the bike definitely has CT DNA (And we are right).
Just like stated above, the design language/ silhouette of the bike along with the large round headlight with a wide and braced handlebar, hand guards, and sump guard are some of the big and small elements which are very similar to the CT 125X and strengthens the speculations that this bike indeed belongs to the CT family. Now the company-fitted hand guards are often seen on more premium motorcycles, but recently Bajaj launched the Platina 110 ABS which features hand guards.
It’s also speculated that the upcoming commuter will likely sit above the CT 125X, in the 150 cc segment since a more premium split-spoke design for its alloy wheels can be spotted in this test mule. And while this bike doesn’t feature the rear luggage pack as the CT 125X, it is possible that this bike could be a 150 cc iteration of the CT line-up and could be named the CT 150X, which is much needed since Bajaj recently said adios to the Pulsar P150, meaning the only the 150 cc models are the new N150 and the good old Pulsar 150, both of which are sporty commuters, which leaves the space for the entry of a rugged commuter.
However this is purely speculation and this could be another commuter bike from Bajaj which is welcomed because the commuter segment lacks good-looking bikes with those classic round headlights like the OG Pulsar, which has a timeless charm and still looks stunning in 2023.
