Nissan Hyper Punk Concept is one of those futuristic beauties that were showcased at this year’s Tokyo Motor Show. This particular concept is definitely one of those pure pleasures to look at and also something you would drive in a Cyberpunk world. This concept also previews the Next-Gen Juke EV.
What is the Purpose of the Nissan Hyper Punk Concept?
This crossover concept has been showcased to show Nissan’s future design direction for its electric cars. Well, that is kind of obvious when you look at the Hyper Punk, which is described as ‘functional and Stylish’ and has both virtual and physical features blended, as an attempt to win over the style-focused audience. You can even call it a concept for the influencers.
If you look at the interiors too, it’s quite stunning and feels like an alien aircraft rather than a car and the overall red and off-white aesthetics are quite eye-pleasing.
This is the fourth entry in Nissan’s Hyper concept family developed for the Tokyo Motor Show. The Concept follows the Hyper ADventure SUV, Hyper Urban Crossover and Hyper Tourer MPV and takes on their origami-styled design cues, vehicle-to-grid charging technology and AI-powered mood-sensing technology that adjusts the music and lighting automatically.
Though not indicated which of the Hyper concepts will make it to production, but its confirmed that the brand will launch 19 new EVs by 2030, so it’s possible we will get a production-spec EV that’s inspired heavily from one of the Hyper Concepts.
In India, the Juke SUV has been showcased by Nissan but it’s yet to see any information related to its launch on our shores. Also, Nissan recently also launched another sporty hatchback EV concept, called the “20-23” which is also quite a good-looking concept.
