Top 10 Motorcylces of FY25 in India

India is one of the largest two-wheeler markets in the world, and millions of bikes from different brands are sold each year. As for FY25, it was dominated by Hero MotoCorp, which has been on top for more than a decade. The brand sold 47,52,589 units, which is more than double of what Honda sold, being in second position. Hero Xtreme 125R

Hero Splendor

As usual, the Splendor, aka the Golden Goose of Hero, topped the list with 34,98,449 units sold. Compared to this, the Splendor recorded 32,93,324 units in FY24, meaning it recorded a YoY growth of 6.23%.

Honda Shine

The second place is secured by Honda Shine. The commuter recorded sales of 18,91,399 units in FY25, which is still a huge amount despite being almost half the total sales of the Splendor. Still, the YoY growth of the Shine is higher as it witnesses a YoY growth of 27.54% with a gain of 4,08,442 units in volume.

Bajaj Pulsar Series

The Pulsar Series from Bajaj sold a total of 13,25,816 units in FY25. Compared to FY24, the lineup witnessed a YoY decline of 6.04% as the brand sold 14,10,974 units in FY24. This makes the Pulsar series the first on this list to register a loss in sales.

Hero HF Deluxe

Hero secures another spot with the HF Deluxe, which registered a YoY decline of 6.10%, similar to the Pulsar lineup, registering sales of 9,71,119 units in FY25 compared to the 10,34,178 units in FY24.

TVS Apache Series

The Apache Series managed to register 4,46,218 units in FY25, which is an impressive YoY growth of 18.02% over the 3,78,072 units sold in FY24.

Hero Xtreme 125R – The Newbie shines ahead with strong YoY growth.

Other than the Top 5, the Bajaj Plantina ranks 6 with 4,38,740 units sold, witnessing a YoY decline of 12.69%. Meanwhile, the 7th and 8th ranks are secured by the TVS Raider 125 and the Royal Enfield Classic 350, both of which sold 3,99,819 units with a 16.43% YoY decline and 3,50,732 units with an 8.80% YoY growth, respectively.

Interestingly, the Hero Xtreme 125R, secured 9th place, ahead of the popular CB Unicorn, with 2,83,021 units and 3,35,115 units respectively. While the CB Unicorn saw a growth of 41.46%, the Xtreme witnessed a massive YoY growth of 1,724.29%, which is quite impressive.
