Benelli has revealed the TRK 552X in China, which is the brand’s new middleweight adventure tourer. This bike is larger than the TRK 502X which is currently on sale in India and is also expected to come to our market very soon.
Benelli TRK 552X Revealed – Highlights
Design-wise, the TRK 552X carries forward the TRK styling and features full-LED lighting, a new 5-inch TFT fully digital instrument cluster and backlit switchgear. The bike also gets some electronic rider aids in the form of dual-channel ABS. Interestingly, Benelli has replaced the axial Brembo calipers on the 502X with radially mounted J.Juan calipers on the 552X.
In terms of powertrain, the TRK 552X is powered by a 550 cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that generates 61 hp and 55 Nm of Torque. The motor has a 50 cc bump compared to the TRK 502X and this larger engine is housed inside a steel tube frame, suspended by a USD fork and monoshock.
The Benelli TRK 552X will first go on sale in its home country China followed by other markets. When launched in India, it will be priced higher than the TRK 502X, which currently carries a price tag of Rs 6.50 Lakh (Ex-showroom, India).
