With its debut on January 23, a preview of the upcoming Hero Mavrick 440’s design and features have been previewed by more official teasers, and it is pretty cool.
From the teaser, it’s clear that the design of the Mavrick 440 will be different from the Harley Davidson X440, the bike it’s inspired by. The teaser image shows that the tank design has been revised, and the handlebar seems to be lower, giving the bike more aggressive retro-futuristic motorbike vibes. And it makes sense since the Mavrick is aimed at youths and enthusiasts.
Apart from this, we also get a peek at the Hero Mavrick 440’s instrument cluster which appears to be an LCD unit and is quite minimalistic with the RPM, Speed and gear position. The display also supports smartphone connectivity for navigation information and notifications.
The Mavrick also seems to use the more common H-shaped LED DRL which is also seen on most newer Hero models such as the Xpulse 200 4V, and it looks quite sharp. The test mule of the bike suggests the use of round bar-end mirrors, unlike the conventional ones on the X440.
Interestingly, this bike also features a telescopic fork instead of a USD, since despite being Premium, Hero probably plans it to be much more accessible in the market as compared to the Harley. So, the price could be somewhere between the Karizma XMR (Rs 1,79,900) and HD X440 (Rs 2,39,500 – Rs 2,79,500). Since we already guessed the name of the bike earlier so hope we get the price right too.
