Bajaj Auto has finally confirmed the all-new Pulsar NS400 will launch officially on May 3. The big bike was supposed to debut this month but it got postponed for some internal reasons. This 400 cc bike will be the brand’s biggest Pulsar yet.
The NS badge clearly suggests that the bike will bear a similar resemblance to the existing Pulsar NS lineup, however, expect this bike to sport a muscular design with sharp and angular edges. But Bajaj Auto might provide some new and unique elements that will make the bike bigger than its current siblings and give it a more distinct character.
Moreover, it might also get some new features as well to make it more value for money. Some of these features are confirmed considering the new Pulsar N250, such as a digital display for Bluetooth connectivity, traction control and ABS modes. Furthermore, Bajaj might include other premium features like a quick shifter and ride modes to name a few.
As for specs, the technical information for the big bike isn’t known yet, however, the upcoming Pulsar NS400 will most likely come with KTM’s new 399 cc, single-cylinder and liquid-cooled engine on the new 390 Duke. But the tuning will be different similar to what Bajaj did with the Dominar 400 and the Pulsar might not be as powerful as its KTM cousin. Hardware might also be more premium than the Puslar NS300 but not as premium as the KTM 390 Duke which has features like adjustable suspension.
The Bajaj Pulsar NS400 is expected to come with a price tag of around Rs 2 Lakh (ex-showroom, India).
