The motorcycle industry in India is seeing quite the rapid growth which might just be a historic moment itself. With a huge list of exciting motorcycles, ranging from scooters and commuters all the way to tourers and superbikes, most of the categories have a huge fan following with enthusiasts keeping their eyes peeled for what’s next in the store. Fortunately for them, we have bought the list of 5 confirmed bikes that will be launching in the Indian market.
Hero Mavrick 440
Hero has recently launched the Xtreme 125R at the Hero World Event 2024, and along with that also revealed the Hero Mavrick 440 which is the brand’s first 400cc high-capacity flagship. The bike is based on the Harley Davidson X440 and sports a muscular body with all-LED lighting. Considering it uses the same X440 engine, performance will also be good enough to complement the heavy style. The price of the Mavrick has not been revealed by the brand yet, however, the bike is scheduled for launch in April 2024.
Suzuki V-Storm 800DE
Suzuki India has recently showcased the V-Storm 800DE at the Bharat Mobility Expo which is a middleweight Adventure bike that is designed to handle both city traffic and rough terrains, courtesy of the powerful 776cc engine and a rugged chassis. The bike is also packed with features including a TFT cluster, bi-directional quickshifter, Drive mode selector, Two-Level ABS and Traction Control System. The ADV bike is expected to launch around mid-2024.
Yamaha YZF-R7
Yamaha recently showcased the YZF-R7 at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Expo which created hype for the upcoming launch of the bike among fans across the nation. Part of the excitement is because launching the R7 also marks Yamaha’s re-entry into the high-performance segment in India. The bike is powered by a powerful 689cc engine and good riding experience, which makes up for some missing features that most modern bikes have nowadays.
Yamaha MT-07
The streetfighter version of the R7 which is the MT-07 was also unveiled by Yamaha with the faired track bike. The naked bike features an aggressive design, a flat handlebar and a not-so-aggressive posture to provide a good urban exploration. Powered by the same 689cc engine as the R7, the MT-07 ensures versatility and agility, making it a good choice among riders who something exciting yet practical.
Suzuki GSX-8R
Last but definitely not least, is the Suzuki GSX-8R which is a middleweight sports bike presented by the brand at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024. This bike has a menacing look and a sporty yet practical riding position. The Engine this bike uses is the same as the V-Storm 800DE but with better performance thanks to the lighter weight.
