2025 Kawasaki Z900 Design Patent filed in India, Launch soon

Kawasaki Z900, India’s favourite 4-cylinder naked streetfighter, has recently got its 2025 update, and it’s soon making its way to our shores, as the brand has filed a design patent for the Z900 in India. Aside from a new design, the bike also gets new features and components.

2025 Kawasaki Z900 Design Patented, enhanced technology

The Z900 is preferred for its competitive pricing and solid performance. This big bike packs a lot of punch, and the 2025 version brings in more with a refreshed design, more features and technology that enthusiasts will like.

Starting with design, the new Z900’s sporty aesthetics have been tweaked with a new LED headlamp, which now looks meaner and new LED taillights as well. Body panels are slightly changed with bigger tank shrouds, enhancing its aggressiveness. The front USD forks get a gold finish, and the Green paint on the wheels goes well with Team Green’s overall design language, but that varies depending on your taste.

As for features, the 2025 Z900 will boast a new 5-inch TFT fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity support via the proprietary rideology app, which enables features like notification alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. Other notable features include traction control, various ride modes and cruise control as standard.

2025 Kawasaki Z900: Powertrain and Other Components

The 2025 Z900 is powered by a 948cc quad-pot engine that generates 123 bhp of peak power. It gets new throttle valves, a new camshaft profile and an updated ECU.

The bike is suspended by USD front forks and a rear monoshock, while the braking is taken care of by dual disc brakes at the front and a single disc brake at the rear, supported by ABS. The wheels are wrapped in Dunlop Sportmax tyres. Kawasaki is offering two seat height options for the bike: 810 mm and 830 mm.

Possible Launch Date and Price

Currently, Team Green is selling the older 2024 Z900 in India, which retails at Rs 9.38 Lakh (ex-showroom) and is offered in 2 paint jobs: Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray and Metallic Spark Black. The new 2025 Kawasaki Z900 will surely come with a higher price tag due to its updated design and features. With an even more aggressive design and a new set of components and features, the bike will surely be well liked by fans and enthusiasts across the country.
