2025 Honda Shine 100: New Design & Features

The new Shine 100 gets some minor design tweaks which is inspired by its elder sibling, the Shine 125. The new Shine 100 gets a refreshed sleek front cowl, blacked-out alloy wheels, new graphics and an aluminium grab rail, all of which enhance the sportiness of this simple commuter.

The long single-seat piece still ensures a comfortable daily commuting experience whether you are riding solo or with a pillion. The seat height is also low, so it is accessible for riders of all heights.

The bike is available in 5 colour schemes: Black with red, Black with Blue, Black with orange, Black with Gray and Black with Green. These colour options ensure variety and will attract a large number of customers.

2025 Honda Shine 100: Powertrain

The new Shine 100 is an OBD2B-compliant 98.98cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected (FI) engine that generates 5.43 kW (7.3 PS) at 7,500 RPM and 8.04 Nm of Torque at 5,000 RPM. The engine is paired with a 4-speed transmission. The engine is smooth with good power delivery and top-notch fuel efficiency (It’s a Honda engine after all).

The CBS activates when you press the rear brake, the front brake is also applied, ensuring optimal stopping power.

Honda Shine 100: One of the most popular Commuters in India

The Shine 100 is one of the most popular commuters in India. Its 100cc engine is supported by a lightweight frame so it feels agile to ride and it’s designed to be comfortable for both the riders and pillion. The reliability and fuel efficiency are also some of the best in its segment thanks to Honda’s engineering which requires little maintenance. With this latest update, although the Shine 100 remains a bare-bones bike with few features, it is still undeniably one of the best commuter bikes for the price you pay. It is simply a no-nonsense bike meant for city commuting.
