The RTX 300 was spotted last year after the brand announced its all-new 300 cc RT-XD4 engine at the 2024 edition of MotoSoul. Later, we got a lot at the undisguised pre-production model of the bike at the Auto Expo 2025. The design has been patented since then, and now the launch seems closer.

This bike will be the first in TVS’ lineup to be powered by the RT-XD4 engine, which is the latest creation of the brand. It is a 299 cc engine that is both liquid-cooled and air/oil-cooled, and generates a peak of 35 hp at 9,000 RPM and 28.5 Nm at 7,000 RPM and will come paired with a 6-speed transmission.

The brand’s upcoming ADV by looks and components seems more focused on long-distance touring rather than scaling rough terrains (off-roading). Furthermore, the spy shots and patents confirm that road-biased 19/17-inch (F/R) alloy wheels are used.

As for components, the bike uses a trellis frame as chassis with a bolt-on rear subframe, suspended by a USD front fork and rear monoshock. Design-wise, the bike seems to have taken inspiration from the larger European Adventure tourers, especially the tail-light section, which carries quite a resemblance to the Triumph Tiger 900.

Expect the bike to be packed with features like a TFT instrument cluster with rider aids like a quickshifter, traction control and multiple riding modes.

The RTX 300 is expected to rival the KTM 250 Adventure at base and stretch its reach to compete with the likes of Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. The pricing will likely fall in between.
