2025 Kawasaki Eliminator 500 – What’s new?

The price hike does not bring any changes to the bike’s design, colours or hardware. The motorcycle retains its timeless and stylish design, which is a head-turner on the road thanks to its great road presence. The bike has a unique look that is made possible by its exposed frame, engine placement, and overall stance alongside retro-styled parts such as the round headlamp, curvy fuel tank, and mirrors.

The lighting is all-LED on the bike with a wide handlebar, fully-digital LCD instrument cluster, split seats and a 2-in-1 exhaust setup that enhances the look of the bike even more. Being a cruiser, the Eliminator 500 has a natural upright riding position with forward-set foot pegs, which ensures comfortable and enjoyable long rides without breaking your back.

Speaking of ergonomics, the Eliminator has a quite low seat height of 735 mm, so it’s easily accessible and confidence-inducing for riders of different heights. The low seat height furthermore provides good control and handling across both urban settings and highways.

The Eliminator is available in a single Metallic Flat Spark Black paint job that makes the bike classic and timeless in terms of styling. The bike is based on a high-tensile steel Trellis frame suspended on telescopic front forks and swingarm rear suspension.

The Front and rear wheels are 18-inch and 16-inch units, wrapped in 130/70 front and 150/80 rear tyres, respectively. Braking is taken care of by 310 mm and 240 mm single discs at the front and rear, respectively, with Dual-channel ABS as standard.

As for performance, the 2025 Kawasaki Eliminator 500 is powered by a 451 cc, liquid-cooled parallel twin engine that churns out 45 PS and 42.6 Nm of peak power. The motor is paired with a 6-speed, return shift gearbox with assist & slipper clutch as standard.

For now, the Kawasaki Eliminator 500 does not face any direct competition in India; however, if you are on a budget, the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 or the Shotgun 650 are highly recommended as alternatives. Without any new updates and a price hike, the Eliminator still continues to be one of the most powerful and well-designed cruisers in its segment.
