2025 Bajaj Platina 110 spotted before launch with new update

The 2025 Bajaj Platina 110 has been spotted in dealerships before its launch with a major update. Earlier this year, the brand discontinued the Platina 110 ABS model from its lineup alongside other bikes like the Pulsar F250 and CT 125X, but retained the standard Platina 110 variant. Let’s check it out in detail.\

2025 Bajaj Platina 110 Pre-launch: What’s the new update?

For context, the commuter segment has been ruled by Hero’s Splendor lineup for a long time. Where Hero does not even operate is the 110 cc segment which is ruled by the Bajaj platina and in the MY25 version, the bike now comes with a new set of colours, graphics and most importantly, a fuel injector (Fi) system which replaces the older e-carburettor. We will come back to this later on but let’s talk about the other updates first.

The new model seems to get new paint jobs, like the one seen in the photo (screenshot from the video by Machine Rules), where black acts as a base colour with light green shade used for graphics and highlights. The MY24 Platina was offered in 3 colour schemes with graphics – Ebony Black Red, Ebony Black Blue and Cocktail Wine Red-Orange.

Aside from the colours, there are little visual updates to the 2025 variant that differentiates it from its MY24 counterpart. The new Platina 110 gets a headlight with chrome borders. The translucent knuckle guards are also not seen in the particular unit, so its either stopped being included by Bajaj or its not installed in this particular unit yet.

A USB charging port has also been added, which is a good feature to have alongside a few changes around the swingarm. However, other components like halogen headlights, LED DRLs, and Seat cover seem to have been retained.

As mentioned before, the main update in the 2025 Platina 110 is in its engine, which is now a BS6 P2 OBD-2B complaint unit, which is mandated on all vehicles sold in India after April 1, 2025. To pass the bike through the latest and stricter emission standards, Bajaj has replaced the electronic carburettor with a fuel injector system.

The addition of a FI system will certainly change the motorbike’s overall performance figures and fuel efficiency. The motor currently produces 8.5 bhp of peak power and 9.81 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 4-speed gearbox.
