Upcoming Hero Bikes: What to Expect?

Hero Motocorp has been on a roll with successful launches this year like the Mavrick 440 and the Xtreme 125R. To maintain this success streak, the brand has a bunch of models lined up for launch. Let’s dig in and check out what models are expected to launch soon.

Hero XPULSE in the works

Hero Destini 125

Hero is launching the 2024 Hero Destini 125 soon. The scooter has been unveiled recently and features a new design update and some extra features. The scooter will likely be priced between Rs 83,000 to Rs 90,000 and if the if it does, the scooter might just be a killer deal in the 125cc scooter segment.

Hero Xoom 160

The Xoom 160 is going to Hero’s first attempt at an adventure tourer maxi-tourer. This highly-anticipated scooter is expected to launch in October 2024 and will come with a tall bike-like stance and muscular looks. The expected price is typical Hero, which is an affordable range of Rs 1,10,000 to Rs 1,20,000.

Hero Xoom 125R

If the Xtreme 125R is Batman, the Xoom 125R will be its Robin. Expected to launch in Jan 2025, this 125cc scooter will take on the likes of Ntorq, which has been the undisputed champion of the 125cc segment for a long time now. The Xoom 110 made some noise in the market, so we expect its bigger brother to do the same. The price will likely be Rs 85,000 or above.

Hero 2.5R Xtunt

Now this bike is something we didn’t expect from Hero, but it’s definitely something that makes our mouths wide open. The 2.5R Xtunt, revealed at the EICMA 2023 looks rather like a concept because it is. However, a bike will be produced out of it and will be launched to the mass market in October 2025 (tentatively) and will compete in the 200cc segment. The expected price will be somewhere around Rs 1.7 Lakh and we hope that this design comes to the streets.

Hero XPulse 210

Hero intends to end this year with a bang and that will be the Xpulse 210. The next-gen variant was recently spotted testing in India, but it might as well be the rumoured 400cc Xpulse variant. The ADV bike if it’s the 210, will carry the same engine as the Karizma XMR and will be priced somewhere Rs 1.5 – Rs 1.7 Lakh.

Hero XPulse 400

As mentioned earlier, a 400cc XPulse is in development and will be launched in the future, although the chances are slim (slim, not zero). A test mule was spotted recently but it’s not sure whether it’s the 400cc model or the 210cc one.
