With sales so high, the manufacturing process needs to be fast and efficient too, hence Hero has 5 key manufacturing facilities all over India and outside India too. Hero Manufacturing Plants in India

Dharuhera Plant

The Dharuhera plant with more than 2.1 million capacity is one of Hero MotoCorp’s key manufacturing plants located in Dharuhera, Haryana. Built as part of the company’s plan to increase production, this plant contributes to an annual capacity of over 9 million. It produces motorcycles and scooters, catering to both domestic and export markets.

Gurugram Plant

Another key plant is the Gurugram facility with a capacity of more than 2.1 million which takes care of the production of motorcycles and scooters which is important for Hero Motocorp’s success. This facility just like other Hero facilities has state-of-the-art automation and technology to ensure faster processes.

Neemrana Plant

Located in Rajasthan, this plant with a capacity of 1.1 million acts as a model for future production facilities and contributes to the production of high-end motorcycles and scooters. This plant has one of the most advanced “green” plants known as the “Garden Factory”.

Haridwar Plant

Set in Uttarakhand, This plant with a production capacity of more than 2.7 million focuses on entry-level motorcycles like Passion and Splendors. This plant boosts Hero’s output greatly since Splendor is the highest-selling two-wheeler in India. The plant is also a zero-discharge facility and recycles 100% of the water used in the production process.

Halol Plant

Located in Gujrat, this plant has a capacity of more than 1.8 million units and is a bit newer, which caters to the growing demand for Hero motorcycles in Western India. Just like the other plants, this one also uses advanced technology and quality control systems to ensure maximum production precision and speed.

Chittoor Plant (New)

This plant, located in Andhra Pradesh began its production in 2020 and is spread over 600 acres. This modern facility is on Hero’s “Green building” concept which includes roads built from plastic waste, dense forest cover, a 10 MW solar power plant and more.

All these manufacturing facilities work in sync to achieve one goal and that is to keep Hero Motocorp as the number one 2-wheeler manufacturer in India and one of the largest in the world. All these plants ensure that the demand for the vehicles is met without delays or any mishaps.

Hero Manufacturing Plants Outside India

Colombia

Hero Motocorp has a manufacturing plant in Villa Rica, Colombia which produces motorbikes for the South American markets like Colombia, Peru and Ecuador. It’s also Hero’s first manufacturing plant outside India, inaugurated in 2015. It has a production capacity of around 80,000 to 90,000 units per annum.

Bangladesh

Hero also has a plant established in Jessore, Bangladesh. Inaugurated in 2017 and made in collaboration with Nitol Niloy Group. this plant is spread over 25 acres of land and caters to the growing market of two-wheelers in Bangladesh. The plant has an annual production capacity of approximately 1,50,000 units.

Argentina

Hero also has its footprint in Argentina with a manufacturing facility in Villa Rosa, Buenos Aires. Opened in 2017, this plant plays a key role in the brand’s Latin America market. The plant provides a platform to export motorcycles to other countries in South America.
