A few days after Norton teased their upcoming motorcycle in India with a taillight and a sweet sound, the company has now shared pictures of the new Norton V4 on test runs by none other than TVS’ Sudarshan Venu.

Upcoming Norton V4 – What do we know?

Norton is one such legacy brand that true enthusiasts have been waiting to launch on our shores, and the dream seemed very close to reality when TVS bought the troubled British Marque. Fast forward to 2025, the brand is going to launch its first bike after the TVS acquisition which will be a smaller displacement motorbike to rival the likes of Triumph 400s and KTMs. There’s also the Norton V4 that has been on test runs by Sudarshan. Going by the pictures shared by the company, there’s much to be excited about.

The sporty V4 is seen riding on 17-inch wheels with disc brakes at both ends. Suspension seems to be taken care of by Upside-Down Forks (USD) at the front, and the rear is likely to be a monoshock. Expect the bike to be packed with lots of electronic aids and features to compete in its segment.

For now, there’s very little information on the Norton V4, including engine capacity and performance figures. However, rest assured, the motor will come paired with a 6-speed transmission alongside a bi-directional quickshifter.

Although the V4 is going through test runs, it will go live in India at a much later stage, probably after TVS revived the Norton brand in global markets and set the brand’s foundation in India. For our market, Norton will start with smaller motorcycles as stated earlier. These new sub-500 cc Norton Motorcycles will be built at TVS’s plant in Hosur, which is also responsible for the upcoming BMW 450 cc twin-cylinder motorcycles.
