Triumph to Launch Daytona 660 in India in April 2024

The Triumph Daytona 660 will be launched in India soon, as evident from Triumph’s official page where the brand has already started producing the bike for the Indian market. The motorcycle debuted in January 2024 as the third 660 cc inline-triple engine-powered model after the Trident 660 and the Tiger Sport 660, both of which are on sale in India.

In fact, the Bike is already listed on the Triumph India website and a few dealerships have already started accepting pre-bookings for a token amount of Rs 50,000. Expect the pricing of the bike upon launch to be around Rs 10 Lakh.

Coming to the design, the Daytona 660 is inspired by the older 675, featuring twin LED headlights and other modern equipment such as a monochrome TFT LCD Instrument cluster which supports the My Triumh Connectivity system. The bike gets 3 riding modes – Road, Sport and Rain along with Ride-By-Wire. The Bike is offered in 3 colour options currently in foreign markets along with a “660” race-inspired graphic.

In terms of parts, the Daytona 660 is suspended by a 41 mm Showa USD fork at the front with a rear Showa monoshock with preload adjustability. Braking is handled by dual 310 mm floating discs at the front and a single 220 mm fixed disc at the rear. The weight of the bike is 201 kg and the seat height is an accessible 810 mm.

Talking about the powertrain, the bike comes powered with a 660 cc inline-triple engine that produces a massive 94 hp of Power and 69 Nm of Torque and is tuned to be sportier than the ones fitted in other Triumph 660 siblings, suiting the characteristics of the Daytona 660. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a torque-assist clutch.
