Triumph Motorcycles has just launched the updated Speed T4 in India at Rs 2.05 Lakh (ex-showroom). The brand has announced a new colour scheme in India, which is the new Baja Orange that will be available with the Speed T4. Let’s explore it in detail.

Updated 2025 Triumph Speed T4 Launched
The Baja Orange shade is quite iconic and was previously seen on Larger Triumph machines such as the Speed Triple 765 R and Scrambler 1200 XE, and now the updated Speed T4 will also carry this colour alongside its existing palette, which includes the Lava Red with White, Caspian Blue with White and Phantom Black.
Apart from the new colour, everything else remains the same. The Speed T4 gets a neo-modern styling with round headlamps, brushed steel exhaust, a 3D-emblazoned “Speed T4” logo, and tyre stripes, while the new Baja Orange adds more brightness to the overall styling, enhancing its road presence. The colour is not just a cosmetic refresh but more of a celebration of the strong sales numbers for the brand’s TR-series.

The Triumph Speed T4’s sales have doubled since the start of FY25, which helped the brand register a 30 per cent rise in volumes for its 400 cc portfolio compared to the previous year. The sales have pushed both the Triumph Speed and Scrambler into second position in the classic segment hierarchy.
As for performance, the updated Speed T4 continues to be powered by the same 398 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that churns out a maximum power of 31 PS at 7,000 RPM and a Peak Torque of 36 Nm at 5,000 RPM. The motor is derived from the Speed 400 but is tuned for better low-end at the 3,500 – 5,500 RPM range. This makes the bike more suited for daily urban commuting.

Other key highlights of the motorcycle include dual-channel ABS, 43 mm Upside-Down Front Forks with a rear monoshock and a slipper clutch system. The updated Speed T4 with new colour options and cosmetic changes were already introduced earlier this year in India, so this update is more of a single colour update.
Last month, the British marque launched the Scrambler 400 XC at a starting price of Rs 2.94 Lakh (ex-showroom), which features lots of new updates over the regular Scrambler 400X, which makes it more apt for off-roading.
