New Norton Bike to debut soon – TVS-made?

It is clear from the teaser that the new Norton bike is going to be a brand new machine. The teaser highlights a partial view of a motorcycle’s taillight, and it is certain that it is different from anything else in the brand’s current portfolio. The only clear element from the teaser is the taillight, which has a staggered layout as some of the body panels around it.

Norton is working on two all-new midsize engines – one in the 400-450 cc range and the other in the 600-650 cc displacement range. Currently, it is still unclear whether the motors will be single or twin cylinders; however, the bigger motor is expected to be a twin unit. The model that’s going to debut in November could be the first one that will be manufactured by TVS Motor Company in India. In both categories, the brand will compete with Indian Giant, Royal Enfield, which is currently dominating the 2 segments with its growing 450 cc and vast 650 cc lineup.

Apart from this, 6 new Norton bikes are in line currently that will be coming to our shores by 2027, so the next two years are very exciting. As for the November 4 launch date, it’s not random but is smartly timed since the debut date coincides with teh EICMA show in Milan, Italy so its clear the brand intends to showcase their bike there. Stay tuned for more information.
