The New Gen KTM 390 Adventure has been recently during its test runs and the bike seems to be in production-ready form ahead of its official debut. The new 390 Adventure has taken a more off-road-focused approach, unlike the urban avatar that the current model gets. The reason may be because of the rising popularity and demand of ADV bikes all over the world. The KTM 390 Adventure is due for launch in 2025.
KTM 390 Adventure – Now has a proper ADV stance
Styling-wise, the new generation KTM 390 Adventure has a proper ADV stance with a Dakar bike-like semi-fairing, high-set front fender and a sleek tail portion. The main trellis frame also looks similar to the one used by the new KTM 390 Duke, however, while the latter uses a cast aluminium subframe, the ADV sports a square-section tubular frame.
In terms of parts, the new KTM 390 Adventure seems to have adopted a new approach with a 21-inch front wheel, while the suspension setup will likely offer more wheel travel than the existing model. The bike will also be powered by the same 399 cc, liquid-cooled motor as the new KTM 390 Duke which produces a solid 45.3 bhp at 8,500 RPM and 39 Nm at 6,500 RPM. The engine will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
The new Gen 390 Adventure is expected to make its official debut globally in Europe at the end of 2024 at the EICMA 2024 and likely be launched in India in early 2025. This bike after launch will serve as the flagship bike from the brand in India. Recently, KTM also took the wraps off from the 990 Duke which is due for launch in 2024.
