Honda has recently introduced the 2026 SP125 or the CB 125 F, which is the motorcycle’s name in Europe. The CB 125 F was launched in Europe back in 2015 and is popular for its affordable pricing and optimal fuel efficiency. The 2026 CB 125 F in Germany brings multiple new updates.

2026 Honda CB 125 F (SP125) – New updates
The CB 125 F ranks as the 14th bestselling light motorcycle in Germany in 2024. Honda has recently updated the 2026 CB 125 F with new features that give it superiority over its peers in the 125 segment. This update includes a new 4.2-inch TFT colour display with Road Sync connectivity suite, with which riders can manage calls/ messages, get weather updates, access music and also get turn-by-turn navigation. The bike now also gets a Type-C USB charging port.

Another major feature update includes an automatic start-stop system, which is already offered in India’s SP125. The engine shuts off automatically when idle and restarts when the rider engages the clutch, which saves fuel at traffic stops as well as in occasional Jams in cities.
Honda also offers the ESP (Enhanced Smart Power) system that reduces friction, which improves both performance and mileage figures. The ESP also integrates the ACG starter, which ensures silent starts.
With the technology to boost fuel economy and a refined engine, the Honda CB 125 F offers a high mileage of 100 km for every 1.4 litres of fuel (claimed), which is around 71 km per litre. This makes it one of the most fuel-efficient bikes in its segment, considering the fact that the real-world figures would be somewhere around 60 to 65 kmpl, depending on the rider’s skill and riding considerations. The CB 125 F features an 11-litre fuel tank, so the range it provides should be around 800 km.

The CB 125 F has been updated to meet the latest Euro 5+ emissions standards (equivalent of India’s OBD 2B emission norms). The 124 cc motor produces 11 hp and 11 Nm of Torque and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The top speed is rated at 95 kmph.
Other components of the bike remain unchanged. The bike is built on a diamond frame with telescopic front forks and dual rear shock absorbers. Braking is taken care of by a disc and drum setup at the front and rear, respectively, supported by CBS.
Despite the new updates bringing multiple changes, Honda has not increased the price of the 2026 Honda CB 1256 F, which currently retails at € 3,199, which is approximately Rs 3.05 lakh in India.
