2025 Yamaha YZF-R3 Updates

The 2025 R3 gets a sharper front fairing and a narrow tail section, making it sportier and more aggressive. The bike is available in 3 colour options: Matte Dark Grey Metallic, Deep Purplish Blue Metallic and Matte Yellowish White, the last one makes the bike stand out and gives a more premium look. Although small, the changes make the bike even more visually appealing now without changing its signature design language and will surely make the rider fall in love with it.

The features have also been updated by Yamaha and the R3 now includes all-LED lighting with a better throw, a multi-function LCD display with smartphone connectivity which lets the riders receive call alerts and SMS on the instrument cluster enhancing convenience. There’s a new assist & slipper clutch that helps in smoother gear shifts.

NEW R3 CLUSTER

The R3 retains the same 321cc parallel-twin engine that generates 41 bhp of power and 30 Nm of Torque which is known for its engaging power delivery. This will particularly keep the enthusiasts happy.

The bike is equipped with 37 mm inverted USD front forks and a rear mono-shock, ensuring a comfortable ride while the braking is taken care of by a 298 mm front disc and 220 mm rear disc brakes, supported by dual-channel ABS for enhanced stopping power.

2025 Yamaha R3 and R25: Will they come to India?

Unfortunately, Yamaha despite public demands doesn’t have any plans to bring some of their popular bikes in India and that includes the R25 which is disappointing.

The brand however retails the R3 in India as a CBU and although the sales aren’t that high due to its premium pricing, Yamaha is expected to launch the 2025 variant R3 soon in the country with all the enhancements, making the bike more competitive in the growing Indian two-wheeler market.
