Suzuki recently launched the new 2025 V-Storm 800DE in India, which is the Japanese marque’s only Adventure Tourer in the Big Bike segment. With the 2025 update, the bike gets new colours and a revised powertrain.

2025 Suzuki V-Strom 800DE Launched
Launched at Rs 10.3 Lakh (ex-showroom), the updated Suzuki V-Strom 800DE retains its same pricing as the MY24 version. This is because the update has added no new features or equipment.
What has been added to the new V-Strom are three new colours, which include Champion Yellow No.2, Pearl Tech White and Glass Sparkle Black. Do note that the Champion Yellow No.2 gets Black body panels and Blue rims, while the Pearl While colour gets Blue spoked rims.
The Glass Sparkle Rims colour scheme, on the other hand, is slightly unique as it features Grey and Red coloured graphics on the body panels and Black rims instead of Blue. All 3 colours look fresh and sticking and will likely appeal to riders.

As for components and equipment, the 2025 V-Strom retains its 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup, along with Hitachi Astemo USD telescopic front forks and a rear mono shock. Other components like a 20L fuel tank, 3 riding modes, 220 mm ground clearance, ABS modes, Suzuki Traction Control System and more, are carried over.
Powering the 2025 Suzuki V-Strom 800DE Adventure Tourer is a 776 cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled DOHC 4V/cyl engine that churns out 83 bhp of peak power and 78 Nm of peak torque, which has been updated to meet BS6 P2 OBD2B emission compliance. This unit is paired with a 6-speed transmission alongside other features like electric throttle (ride-by-wire), Low RPM Assist feature, a bi-directional quickshifter and Suzuki’s Easy Start System.

Mr Deepak Mutreja, Vice President (Sales & Marketing) of Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd, stated that the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE is now OBD-2B compliant and available in updated colours, which will continue to provide adventure-seeking riders with an option that is ready for diverse riding conditions. He further added that these updates focus on offering more choice while staying aligned with evolving government norms and rider preferences.
