2025 Kawasaki Z900 Launched in India – Gets new Design & Features

Kawasaki has finally launched the new 2025 Z900 in India, which is one of the most anticipated motorcycles in the country’s big bike segment. The brand earlier patented the design for the same. Let’s take a closer look at the updated version of India’s best-selling 4-cylinder motorcycle.

2025 Kawasaki Z900 India Launch – Changes

Team Green launched the new Z900 at Rs 9.52 Lakh (ex-showroom), which is India’s most popular close-to-litre-class naked streetfighter. Its powerful 4-cylinder engine and relatively affordable pricing are the reasons for the bike’s immense popularity among Indian riders.

Design changes include a new LED headlight, a redesigned and more muscular fuel tank with aggressive tank shrouds, and a sharper tail section with new LED tail lights. The ergonomics are slightly on the aggressive side with rear-set footpegs.

As for new features, the brand has updated the instrument console to a new TFT colour unit with Bluetooth connectivity and smartphone support, an advanced IMU that unlocks cornering traction control and ride-by-wire throttle with cruise control.

The new MY25 Z900 gets a bi-directional quickshifter that should enhance performance and rider experience. Other features include Ride Modes, 2 Power modes and cornering ABS. The bike retains 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped with Dunlop Sportmax tyres while the suspension is taken care of by USD forks and a rear monoshock at the front and rear, respectively. Braking is handled by a twin-disc setup at the front while a single-disc brake handles the rear, providing ample stopping power.

Powering the 2025 Kawasaki Z900 is a 948cc 4-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that churns out 123 bhp of peak power and 97.5 Nm of Peak Torque. The unit is paired with a 6-speed transmission alongside a bi-directional quickshifter and ride-by-wire, as mentioned before.
