The 2025 Bajaj Dominar 400 has reached showrooms ahead of its launch with a few important updates. The new update has been long due and is much anticipated, especially since last year when spy shots of the 2025 Bajaj Dominar 400 started floating on the internet. Let’s check it out in detail before it hits the road.

2025 Bajaj Dominar 400 to launch soon
The Dominar 400 is one of the most popular bikes from Bajaj apart from the Pulsar lineup which is known for its great touring capacity and the brand even promotes it as one. The bike is good for daily commuting inside cities and great for cruising the highways. Now, most bikes can do these, but the Dominar balances this in a much better way thanks to its muscular stance and powerful engine.
As for the 2025 Dominar, it continues to be offered in a single variant with Touring accessories as standard, which includes knuckle guards, a rear luggage rack, a big windscreen (which is practical) and a pillion backrest. The touring capabilities of the bike have not changed, though, which is practical.

The major change can be seen in the display department. Bajaj is offering an improved, fully digital display. This is the same unit that made its debut with the Pulsar NS400Z, which also gets the same engine as the Dominar 400 (not even tuned). With this new display, Dominar also gets Bluetooth connectivity for the first time.
The iconic digital cluster on its fuel tank has been eliminated completely, and in its place, we now get a USB charger. Bajaj has updated the switchgear to control the new digital display, which is also seen on the Pulsar NS400Z. There’s a D-Pad on the left switchgear that will be used to control this display.
The bike will also include a ride-by-wire and ABS modes with the 2025 Bajaj Dominar 400, similar to the Pulsar NS400Z. We can expect some changes to the engine since the brand needs to make it BS6 P2 OBD2B compliant, which came into effect for vehicles manufactured after April 1, 2025.
Other than the new emission standards, expect no change in the engine or performance in the Dominar 400. The 373.3 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 39 bhp and 35 Nm, paired with a 6-speed transmission. Bajaj might add more colours, but expect a slight price increase over the current model which retails at Rs 2.26 lakh (ex-showroom).
