Yamaha has launched some new colour schemes for the Aerox 155 in Malaysia. The maxi scooter goes by the name of NVX 155 and is currently sold by the Japanese Bikemaker in 2 variants – Standard which costs RM 9,998 (Rs 1.74 Lakh) and ABS which starts at RM 11,698 (Rs 2.04 Lakh).

So the Standard variant of the Aerox 155 or the NVX 155 can be bought in Blue and Bronze paint jobs while the ABS variant gets 2 shades – Cyan Sky and Navy. The latter two sports a bit aggressive graphics and golden alloy wheels. Meanwhile, the standard variant only gets black alloy wheels. Other than the difference in colour schemes and the availability of ABS, both variants are the same in other areas.
The maxi scooter riders on large 14-inch alloy wheels with telescopic forks and dual springs. Specifications and features include a 5.5-litre fuel tank, a keyless ignition system thanks to the newly added smart key and a fully-digital LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. The kerb weight of the 155 cc scooter is 126 kg while the seat height and ground clearance is 790 mm and 145 mm respectively.
Powering the Malayia-spec Aerox 155 is the same VVA-equipped, 155 cc, liquid-cooled engine as the India-spec model that churns out 14.75 bhp at 8,000 RPM and 13.9 Nm of Torque at 6,500 RPM.
