Triumph has unveiled the 2025 iteration of the Triumph Rocket 3 Storm to celebrate 20 years of the bike, which is currently the cruiser with the largest production engine in a motorcycle. The new version of the Rocket 3 comes in both R and GT trims with the engine now making more power and torque than before.
Triumph Reveals Rocket 3 Storm – Highlights
Since the engine is the main highlight of the bike, let’s talk about it first. The Rocket 3 has the largest production bike engine in existence which is a 2,458 cc, inline 3-cylinder engine that produces a monstrous 180 hp at 7,000 RPM and a Peak Torque of 255 Nm, meaning a power bump of 15 bhp and a torque bump of 4 Nm.
The large engine is mounted on the same aluminium frame that was first introduced in 2019 and has a new set of 10-spoke alloys, which are lighter and reduce the unsprung mass by around 4 kg. Suspension is handled by 47 mm adjustable Showa forks and a Showa monoshock with a piggyback reservoir that’s fully adjustable too. On the other hand, the braking duties are handled by Brembo Stylema Calipers with two 320 mm front discs and a single Brembo M4.32 four-piston radial monobloc Calipers holding the 300 mm disc at the rear wheel.
The two versions of the Rocket 3 Storm have different ergonomics and design elements. The Rocket 3 R is the roadster variant with mid-mounted footpegs and a forward-leaning handlebar offering a sportier stance, while the GT has a more relaxed vibe because of its forward-mounted footpegs. The GT also provides better pillion comfort with an adjustable touring seat that has thicker padding and a standard backrest.
Talking about other features the bike is packed with electronics such as a TFT instrument cluster which comes with two information layouts and operates through a 5-way joystick, lean-sensitive cornering ABS, keyless ignition, four ride modes, hill hold, a torque-assist clutch, traction control and optional quickshifter. There’s also a comprehensive list of 50 genuine accessories for a present and stylish touring experience.
Although there’s no official information regarding the bike’s launch in India, but Triumph India may launch the new Rocket 3 Storm in the upcoming months. If launched, the prices will be in the Rs 22-25 Lakh Range. (Ex-Showroom).
