2024 Jeep Wrangler Facelift Launched At Rs 67.65 Lakh

Jeep has finally launched the Wrangler Facelift, which now starts from Rs 67.65 lakh for the Unlimited and goes all the way up to Rs 71.65 Lakh for the Rubicon. This means that the Wrangler lineup now costs Rs 5 Lakh more and for the premium you get some new features and design changes as well.

Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 2024 Changes

Right off the bat, you will notice the new blacked-out grille on the Unlimited along with new 18-inch alloy wheels. Jeep also states that the windshield is also a new unit and is made up of Gorilla glass. The variant also gets 5 exterior colour options now – Sarge Green (New), Granite Crystal, Black, Bright White and Firecracker Red.

Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 2024 Changes

Similar to the Unlimited, the Rubicon also sports an all-black grille and new 17-inch alloy wheels. However, the SUV retains its outgoing model’s colour options – Sarge Green, Bright White, Granite Crystal, Black and Firecracker Red. The Rubicon also continues to sport all the decals and badges that set it apart as the more rugged Wrangler.

The Wrangler Rubicon also gets a new Rocvk mode for the Selec-Trac system (which I will mention in a bit), a front sway bar that can be electronically disconnected, locking front and rear differentials and a 240 Amp alternator.

The facelift Wrangler’s cabin is not that much different from the outgoing model. The layout is identical, although some adjustments have been made to fit the new 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen that runs on Jeep’s latest Uconnect 5 OS. The adjustments include changing the round air vents to thin slits that are now positioned below the new touchscreen.

Both Unlimited and Rubicon also get new features such as 12-way powered front seats, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and Six Airbags, which is 2 more than before. Safety features include ESC, Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent control, automatic headlamps, electronic roll mitigation, a tyre pressure monitor and rear parking sensors and camera.

Jeep Wrangler Facelifts

Both variants continued to be powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that generates 270 hp and 400 Nm of Peak Torque. This unit is paired with an 8-speed Torque converter automatic. Also, Jeep’s Selec-Trac Full-time 4WD system is standard and the approach, departure and breakover despite the design revisions remain unchanged at 36 degrees, 31 degrees and 20 degrees ( 21 for the Rubicon).

Interestingly, despite the price hike, the Wrangler is still much more affordable than its closest possible Rival SUV in the market which is the Land Rover Defender (Rs 97 Lakh to Rs 2.35 crore).
