The nine variants split three ways. Petrol manuals are the Sigma MT, Delta MT, Zeta MT and Alpha MT. AGS cars, Maruti's clutchless automatic, come as Delta, Zeta and Alpha. Factory CNG manuals are the Delta CNG and Zeta CNG MT. The Sigma MT starts the range and the Alpha AGS tops it. Karnataka's rate card splits its slabs by fuel and price, and since the Baleno is petrol and CNG only, the 14% petrol rate is the one that applies to every variant here.

Because the cess rides on the road tax, every rupee you add to the ex-showroom gets taxed harder in Mysore than elsewhere, which sharpens the case for buying the trim you will actually use rather than the one above it. One number worth checking on the quote: the Infrastructure cess should read as 11% of the road tax, so on the Sigma MT that is ₹9,223 against ₹83,846 of tax. If a dealer's cess line looks rounder or larger, ask them to show the working, since this is where a Karnataka invoice gets misread.

The takeaway for Mysore is to let the tax stack discipline the choice. A town-driving family is well served by the Delta AGS; the Zeta AGS earns its bigger jump only if the expressway to Bangalore is a regular part of your week.
