Bajaj has launched the new Chetak 3001 which is one of the most affordable electric scooter from a big brand which brings both practicality & features at a lower cost.
The Chetak 3001 is priced at Rs 99,990 (ex-showroom) making it one of the most affordable electric scooters in Indian market.
The Chetak 3001 shares its underpinnings with the current 3501 and 3502 which is the Chetak 35 Platform.
The 3001, similar to the 2903 shifts weight to the floorboard meaning the 3 kWh battery sits below the rider's feet which improves balance & provides a massive boost space of 35L.
The overall range is claimed to be 127 km which is great for daily city rides. It is paired with a 750W charger that charges upto 80% in just 3 mins.
Despite low price, Bajaj added useful tech as part of the TecPac upgrade which includes Music/call controls, reverse alert, hill-hold, auto-off turn signals and even guide-me-home lighting.
The 3001 gets a full metal body, a defining trait of the Chetak series & is the only scooter in its segment to feature this. The IP67 rating further ensures storms & splashes don't do any damage.
