Tata Motors has a bunch of cars lined up for launch in India. While some are confirmed for launch, others have been showcased and are yet to have a confirmed launch date. Let’s take a look at all the Tata cars that are expected to launch in India.
Tata Curvv
First on the list is the much-awaited Curvv EV coupe-SUV crossover which is set to launch on September 2, 2024. Likely to be priced in the Rs 15 Lakh to Rs 21 Lakh zone, this car promises a refreshing design along with some premium features. Although the all-electric version is launching for now, the ICE version will follow soon after.
Tata Nexon Fearless 1.2 iCNG
This CNG variant of Nexon is expected to go live by October 2024 at Rs 13.20 Lakh (expected). This variant will carry the same design language of the Nexon lineup with the iCNG badge to differentiate it alongside all other gimmicks and tricks of the SUV.
Tata Harrier EV
The electric version of the Harrier is expected to launch by March 2025 at the price range of Rs 24 Lakh to Rs 28 Lakh (expected). The car will likely be based on the Gen2 architecture and will be largely identical to the ICE Harrier except for some changes like the closed-off grille, EV badging and some extra features, inspired by the Curvv concept.
Tata Safari EV
Alongside Harrier EV, the electrified Safari is also expected to arrive by March 2025 with an expected price tag of Rs 26 to 30 Lakhs. The car will remain identical to its ICE counterpart expect some changes like the closed-off grille and EV badging.
Tata Punch Facelift
The Punch entry-level Compact SUV is also getting a facelift which is expected to go live by Feb 2025 at an affordable price range of Rs 6 Lakh to Rs 11 Lakh (expected). The Punch needed this makeover and will get a new look following the design language of the current Tata lineup. The C-SUV will also get a comprehensive list of features like a fully digital driver’s display and a sunroof added to make it competitive.
Tata Sierra EV
The iconic Sierra EV is making a comeback in India by May 2025 at the Rs 25 Lakh to Rs 30 Lakh price range (expected). Tata modernised the styling but kept the Sierra spirit alive with the boxy design and full glass roof design at the back. The Sierra will likely launch as an all-electric first, followed by its ICE counterpart. It will likely sit as the brand’s new flagship with a massive road presence and top-of-the-line features.
Tata Avinya
We have another interesting car that is expected to be launched soon enough and that is the Tata Avinya. Currently, the Avinya is a concept that represents the next-gen lineup of pure electric vehicles based on the Gen3 architecture. The name Avinya is a Sanskrit word that means “Innovation”. The concept is aimed at the mass market and aims to provide a premium yet simple and calming experience. Expect the 1st product that will come out of this concept to be priced in the Rs 25 Lakh to Rs 35 Lakh range.
