Aurangabad's Baleno lineup splits into petrol manuals, petrol AGS and S-CNG manuals. Petrol manuals are Sigma MT ₹7.02 Lakh, Delta MT ₹7.95 Lakh, Zeta MT ₹8.99 Lakh and Alpha MT ₹10.02 Lakh. AGS trims are Delta AGS ₹8.53 Lakh, Zeta AGS ₹9.56 Lakh and Alpha AGS ₹10.59 Lakh. S-CNG manuals are Delta CNG ₹8.75 Lakh and Zeta CNG MT ₹9.76 Lakh.

Maharashtra's tax split matters here. Petrol Baleno variants use 11% road tax, while CNG variants use 8% road tax. That is why Delta CNG at ₹8.75 Lakh is about ₹23,559 cheaper than Zeta MT even though both share the same ex-showroom price. Road Safety Cess is 2% of road tax, and the fixed lines include registration ₹600, HSRP ₹400, smart card ₹200, postal fee ₹50 and FASTag ₹500. TCS should be zero because no variant crosses ₹10 Lakh ex-showroom.

For CIDCO, Jalna Road, Waluj and Shendra MIDC, Delta AGS at ₹8.53 Lakh costs about ₹57,399 more than Delta MT and is useful if traffic is the daily pain point. If your running is more Paithan Road or Ajanta-Ellora weekend routes, Zeta MT at ₹8.99 Lakh is the better family variant because it adds wireless phone projection, connected tech, rear AC vents and LED projector headlamps without losing boot space.

Delta CNG is the city-specific fork. It suits Waluj or Shendra MIDC commute when kilometres are high and a CNG pump sits close to your actual route. It is not automatically better for Ajanta-Ellora, Paithan and highway luggage use, because the boot-space loss can matter more than the tax saving. Zeta CNG MT costs ₹9.76 Lakh, close to Alpha MT, so only buy it when running cost is the main reason.

Aurangabad verdict: Zeta MT is the family-highway pick, Delta CNG suits Waluj-Shendra high running, and Delta AGS is for city-heavy use. Approximate EMI at 60 months, 20% down and 9.25% interest is about ₹14,240 for Delta AGS, ₹14,620 for Delta CNG and ₹15,010 for Zeta MT. On the dealer quote, check Zone B insurance, 11% petrol or 8% CNG road tax, 2% road-safety cess and zero TCS before accessories, insurance discounts or exchange benefits are adjusted. Because Maharashtra separates petrol and CNG tax, ask for the road-tax row before comparing discounts. A lower final payable amount should not hide road-safety cess, Zone B insurance, HSRP or accessories, especially when two Aurangabad showrooms quote different packages.
