Nissan Magnite Facelift Spied, To Debut In December

Nissan Magnite Facelift has been spied on recently ahead of its debut in December, this year. The sub-4-metre SUV segment has been growing with each passing day with the addition of the facelifted Tata Nexon and Kia Sonet. Even Skoda working on launching a C-SUV.

So, while the test mule is obviously fully camouflaged, the car has been spotted with new alloys. The overall silhouette remains unchanged, however, changes to the bumpers are possible to give it a fresh appearance. Nissan could also add newly designed headlights and tail lights to the facelifted SUV.

The Magnite Facelift is also expected to be feature-packed too with features such as an electric sunroof, ventilated seats and auto-dimming IRVM which could give it an advantage over segment rivals. That being said, the engine options which are the 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol that produces 72 hp and turbo-petrol which generates 100 hp will likely be retained.

Although Nissan has yet to give out any official information regarding the Magnite Facelift’s launch, the recent test mule suggests that the Compact SUV could be in the final stages of its development and will soon be production-ready. Currently, at a base price of Rs 6 Lakh (ex-showroom), the Nissan Magnite is one of the most affordable SUVs in the Indian market, along with Renault Kiger.

One of the key selling points of the Magnite has always been its affordable price point and the facelift is likely to carry forward with this title. After launch, the Magnite facelift will continue to compete with the likes of Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra XUV300 and Tata Nexon.
