Force Motors showrooms have officially started accepting bookings for the new upcoming Gurkha Twins. The all-new Gurkha 5-door and the updated Gurkha 3-door will go on sale by May 2024. The price announcement will supposedly take place later this week although the brand is yet to put out an official confirmation.

Upcoming 2024 Force Gurkha – What to Expect?
The new Gurkha will be available in 3 and 5-door body styles with both iterations getting the same 2.6-litres Mercedes-sourced diesel engine. This unit has been upgraded to generate 140 hp which is a huge jump from the 91 hp power output seen in the outgoing model. However, the unit will be paired with a 5-speed manual with no automatic transmission in offer. 4 wheel-drive is standard which can now be controlled via a switch on the centre console.

As for the features, the Gurkha sports a 9-inch infotainment screen, a fully digital instrument cluster and some other features for convenience. However, since the Gurkha is seen as a hardcore rugged SUV made to drive on all terrains, it does lack a few features compared to other SUVs in the segment like the Thar lifestyle SUV. Upon launch, the Force Gurkha 5-door will lock horns with the 5-door Thar AKA Thar Armada, which might get an edge over the Force SUV in terms of features like ADAS.
