Mahindra XUV 3XO which is essentially the facelifted XUV300 has yet again been teased by Mahindra Auto ahead of its launch on April 29. The previous teaser gave us a glimpse of what the exterior of the vehicle looks like, while the new teaser takes us to the inside of the vehicle along with some extra glimpses of the exterior. This facelift will mark the first major update of the XUV300, which has been pending since its launch in 2018.
According to the teaser, the XUV 3XO will have a similar interior layout as the XUV400 Pro EV which was launched in January 2024. The centre console will sport a large freestanding infotainment along with a digital driver’s display although it is not confirmed yet whether the displays will be the same size as the XUV400. The vehicle will further get features like a new dual-zone auto climate control system with an updated switchgear, panoramic sunroof and ventilated seats.
Furthermore, this teaser also gives us a glimpse of some of the exterior elements such as the new LED headlights, DRLs and refreshed front bumper. Although the overall appearance of the car is quite different from the outgoing XUV300, the back of the car looks very much similar to the outgoing XUV300. The tail section of the car will also feature a connected tail-light setup. Also, expect the vehicle to have a very youthful vibe due to its bright colour schemes like the bright yellow paint shown in the teaser.
Coming to powertrain, the XUV 3XO is expected to retain its current engine options which include a 108 bhp/ 200 Nm, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and a 128 bhp / 230 Nm, 1,2-litre turbo GDi petrol unit. There’s also a 1.5-litre turbo-charged diesel motor that is expected to be on offer which generates 115 bhp and 300 Nm of Torque. The engines will get the option to be either paired with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT.
