Tata is all set to launch the Curvv SUV, which is going to be the carmaker’s first all-new car launch in 2024. The SUV was initially showcased as a concept and near-production form earlier, and now we get to see its final design, courtesy of a patent image. The Curvv SUV will lock horns with the likes of Hyundai Creta.
Tata Curvv – SUV-Coupe Crossover?
The patent image that recently surfaced online reveals that the Curvv SUV will get a coupe-like design, which makes it the first SUV coupe to enter the Midsize SUV segment in the Indian market.
It gets a wide air intake grille with a tall bumper and a grille which is similar to the ones we see in the Harrier and Safari facelifts. The vertical headlights also look similar to the two SUVs. Furthermore, the SUV coupe also has stylish alloy wheels and flush door handles.
Coming to the powertrains, the Curvv will launch with the diesel and turbo-petrol variants in the 2nd half of 2024, following the launch of the Curvv EV. The production of the EV series will commence in April in the company’s Ranjangon plant near Pune.
