Tata Curvv is the brand’s highly awaited launch for 2024 since it was showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024 in its almost production-spec form. The Curvv has been spotted during test runs yet again and this time we got a sneak peek at the inside of the Coupe-SUV, providing some cool details.
Firstly, let’s talk about the highlighted discovery, which is the infotainment system, which is expected to be the 12.3-inch unit found in other famous Tata models like the Harrier, Safari and Nexon.ev. Apart from that, the interior is expected to get a minimalist interior with modern components including electrically adjustable and ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof and a digital driver’s display. Other expected features include ADAS along with other safety features such as 6 airbags, front and rear parking sensors and a 360-degree camera system.
Well, the reason the Curvv is much anticipated in the Indian market is due to its Coupe-SUV design, which looks unique and premium. The designers really deserve a pat on the back for such commendable work, considering last month netizens actually confused an Urus for the Curvv SUV. So, it won’t be wrong to say that once launched, Tata Curvv might just be the most stylish SUV in its segment.
Talking about Powertrain, the Curvv will get both ICE and EV versions, with the EV launching first, followed by ICE variants. For the combustion units, the SUV will be offered with both turbo-petrol and diesel options. As for pricing the Curvv EV is expected to be in the Rs 20 Lakh price range, whereas the ICE options are expected to start from Rs 10-11 Lakh.
Upon launch, the ICE Coupe-SUV will rival the likes of Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Skoda Kushaq, while the EV variant will go against the likes of Hyundai Kona Electric, Hyundai Creta EV, Maruti Suzuki eVX and MG ZS EV.
