TVS Motor Company has been putting out great two-wheelers in the Indian market like the RTR 310 and new Jupiter. The company ranks in top 5 in the Indian two-wheeler market and even reported a sales of 2,75,689 units in February 2025 which is a 3.06% Year-on-Year growth compared to last year’s Feb. Let’s break it down and look at their sales profile.

TVS Sales in February 2025 Breakup (Year-on-Year)
TVS had mixed sales performance across the portfolio. Among its vast lineup, the Jupiter reigns as the brand’s top performer with 1,03,576 units sold in Feb 2025 which is 40.23% up from last year. This shows the strong demand in the scooter segment and TVS addressing it made many changes to the scooter, making it more stylish and feature-loaded.

The Apache series, although with minimal changes over the years still maintains a steady sales of 37,594 units or 8.68% YoY growth. However, the design and the bike itself have started to show its age and TVS should give it an overhaul that’s long due.
Meanwhile, TVS XL, one of the most popular mopeds in India surprisingly saw a drop in sales of 33,572 units (18.23%). In the EV segment, however, the brand saw good growth with its iQube electric scooter which registered 23,581 units sold which is a YoY increase of 49.32%. The iQube is also currently the best-selling electric scooter in the Indian market.

Interestingly, the brand’s popular sporty scooter, the Ntqor 125 which was hailed as one of the sportiest and quickest scooter of its segment faced a decline of 15.73%, selling 20,992 units in February 2025.
Other commuter models like the Radeon, Zest and Sport all saw YoY drops in sales although in the premium commuter segment, the Ronin jumped to 3,846 units which is a whopping 88.34% increase from last year. Star City too although sold a lower 2,141 units last month saw a massive 1197.58% YoY sales growth and is only expected to increase.
Although the Apache series is on the rise, the Apache RTR 310 despite its sporty stance and powerful engine saw a dip of 45.90% YoY growth, registering only 310 units last month compared to February 2024.

TVS overall had a positive YoY growth last month, which unfortunately cannot be said for the month-on-month (MoM) domestic sales performance which saw a decline of 6.17% with the total sales dropping to 2,75,689 units from the 2,93,802 units the brand clocked in January 2025.
