TVS Motor Company recently patented the design of the RTS X 300 Supermoto Concept in India, which indicates its launch is near. The concept bike was revealed earlier this year at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 and has been spotted during test runs, solidifying its imminent launch.

TVS RTS X Supermoto Concept Patented and Spied in India
The TVS RTS X Supermoto concept is based on the Apache RTX 300’s platform, although it features a completely different supermoto-style design similar to Ducati’s Hypermotard. The showcased concept includes transparent side panels and a flat seat that extends into the fuel tank alongside a stubby beak-style fender, a small headlamp cowl and minimalist fork covers.
The concept overall looks like a well-built and stylish adventure tourer, featuring a tall stance, long travel suspension, upright riding posture, knobby tyres, and an upswept exhaust. The Spy Shots further reveal a semi-faired body and a muscular fuel tank. It also gets sleek LED turn indicators, LED tail light, a luggage rack and handlebars for relaxed touring ergonomics.

According to the spy shots and the concept, both the front forks are USD units with a black finish, with a matched rear monoshock. The wheel combo is expected to be a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear unit. Braking will be handled by petal discs on both ends, with switchable dual-channel ABS on offer.

The TVS Apache RTS X 300 will be powered by the brand’s new RT-XD4 engine, which was showcased at the 2024 MotoSoul event. This 299 cc liquid-cooled DOHC 4-valve motor, expected to generate 35 bhp and 28.5 Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed transmission alongside a slipper clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter.
The one who is riding the RTX 300 Test mule is TVS’s MD Sudarshan Venu himself, which hints the motorcycle is in the final stages of development with a launch expected within the next 2 to 3 months. Upon launch, the bike also marks TVS’s entry into the ADV segment, which has gained quite some traction in recent times.
Expected features include a fully digital TFT instrument console that supports bluetooth and smartphone connectivity alongside turn-by-turn navigation. The price is expected to retail somewhere in the Rs 2.4 Lakh to Rs 2.7 Lakh range (ex-showroom).
