Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is all set to launch or rather re-launch in India on 1st January 2024 with a few cosmetic changes and an updated engine with the latest emission norms. The bike was first unveiled at India Bike Week 2023 and the expected price for 2024 is around Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom).
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R – Highlights
The new Ninja ZX-6R gets a few cosmetic updates that set it apart from the style Kawasaki has been using for a long time now. It now sports a more aggressive-looking set of LED headlamps with a windscreen, new fairings with integrated winglets and overall looks a lot more angry, probably because it made a comeback after more than 3 years. Jokes aside, this bike’s new makeover is inspired by its older sibling, the ZX-10R.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R comes with lots of features too such as a 4.3-inch colour TFT panel, ABS, traction control, 3 power and riding modes, a quickshifter and also an ECO riding indicator. Talking about the underpinnings, the bike uses an aluminium perimeter frame, suspended by 41 mm inverted forks and a gas-charged monoshock at the front and rear respectively. The Suspension units are also fully adjustable and for braking, the bike uses dual 310 mm discs at the front and a 220 mm single unit at the rear.
Now what true enthusiasts want is power and performance. The good news for them, the Ninja ZX-6R will provide that rush of adrenaline with its 636 cc, in-line 4-cylinder engine that produces a massive 129 hp at 13,000 RPM and Peak Torque of 69 Nm at 10,800 RPM. The mill is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
