Hero has revealed both Xoom 125R for the first time in India at the Hero World Event alongside the Xoom 160, following their first official debut at the EICMA 2023.
Hero Xoom 125R – Details
The upcoming Xoom 125R, as the name suggests will be placed above the Xoom 110 and comes packed with features such as a fully digital instrument cluster with supports navigation, Bluetooth connectivity and notification alerts. The scooter is also equipped with sequential LED indicators.
Powering the Xoom 125R is an air-cooled, 124.6cc, single-cylinder unit that produces 9.5 hp and 10.14 Nm. This engine is powerful enough for a 125cc scooter and competes with the likes of TVS Ntorq (Rs 85,000 – 1,05,000), Honda Dio 125 (Rs 83,400 – 91,300) and Suzuki Avenis (Rs 92,000 – 92,800).
Hero Xoom 160 – Recap
The upcoming Xoom 160 is the first-ever Indian Adventure Maxi-scooter that is capable of touring, thanks to its 156 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 14 hp and 13.7 Nm. It comes with features such as a fully digital cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, keyless ignition, remote seat opening, two split LED headlamps and more. The scooter is also equipped with the patented i3s stop-start feature and a silent starter.
Coming to the specs, the Xoom 160 is suspended by a telescopic fork and twin shock absorber setup, 14-inch wheels with dual-purpose tyres and weighs 141 kg. After launch, the Xoom 160 will compete with the popular Yamaha Aerox 155.
Apart from the scooters, Hero also showcased the 2.5R XTunt Concept, from which a 250cc streetfighter will be born very soon. The Xtunt Concept also made its first debut worldwide at the EICMA 2023.
