Ducati Streetfighter V4 S to launch on 12th March
The upcoming Streetfighter V4 S sports a very mean and aggressive front face with LED headlamps and V-shaped DRLs that are similar to the Panigale V4. The sharp appearance is further enhanced by the sleek covers around the fuel tank. Speaking of which, the 16.5-litre fuel tank is made to provide support to the rider and has undergone several modifications to upgrade the stability during braking and cornering. Coming to the rear, the sleek tail lamps and wide rear tyre contribute to the overall muscular naked look of the bike.
Apart from this, the bike also gets a repositioned swingarm pivot, and the front has been tuned to adjust the weight distribution. The Smart EC 2.0 lets the rider enables faster adjustments to the suspension setup, and the quickshifter has also been updated for smoother and quicker gearshifts. The Streetfighter V4 S features 4 modes – Full, High, Medium and Low and now a new Wet mode has also been added. All these settings can be easily accessed via the new colour TFT instrument panel.
Other optional features include Ducati Data Analyser+ and Multimedia System, Anti-theft system, GPS module, and heated grips, which customers can add while purchasing the bike.
Powering the Ducati Streetfighter V4 S is a 1,103 cc, V4, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 208 PS of Power and 123 Nm of Torque. The mill has also undergone changes to match the larger silencer unit, reducing the exhaust back pressure. The motor is mated to a 6s-peed gearbox. So, yeah the bike is fast and powerful, maybe too powerful for Indian roads, although it is a good thing that more and more superbikes are making their way in India.
